Life Experience

Welcome to my Personal Educational Experiences!

Here you will find aspects of my personal life experience shared through my collegiate expression. These posts will not be shared until end of quarter or end of year according to my schedule. I love attending college, so far it has had a very postive effect in healing and expanding my growth. I am grateful to all who have lent me a hand and contribute and support me during this time. It is hard work and I am worthy of the effort. I wish to be a good return on all who have invested their time, energy, and currency on me.

Thank you,

~Groovy~

A Super Quick Flight

In alaska I had occasion tofly on smaller planes to and from Kenai. On one particular trip (15 minute flight from Kenai to Anchorge) I was on a flight that had an open cabin and a singular seat on each side of the narrow aisle. I sat in the second seat from the front on the right side. As we approached Anchorage all of the lights in the pilot's cabin started going off, one of the captains reached for a notepad, glanced at it and touched some buttons.  It didn't fix it. She then reached for the pad of paper again when suddenly the plane dropped and went sideways to the right, the beeping of the buttons were screaming through my brain. I was looking at the ocean right out my window. I gripped the seat in front of me and looked toward the lady in the seat next to me, I had met her at the small Kenai airport and had a quite lengthy conversation with her. Her short blonde, bobbed hair was hanging sideways in my direction as she was looking at me terrified and screaming "It was nice knowing you!!!" I couldn't speak, no words coming out from my lips, I turned my attention back to my ocean view out my window as we were hurtling towards it, my fingers clenching into the seat in front of me in terror. I felt surreal, as if I was in a movie. I thought...."this is it, it's the end. I'm gonna be a bobber out in the ocean and I'll be marked a no call, no show at work. Suddenly the beeping stopped and  plane straightened and we circled for the landing. I couldn't speak. It was an unbelievable event. When the plane landed the lady across from me looked at me and said, "I thought we were all gonners". I nodded my head and finally spoke, "me too". I followed behind her as we exited the plane she looked at the two captains and exclaimed, "I hope you aren't offended, I'm kissing the ground!"
